The DDA78 supports various types of phase combiner. As well as the switching control needed to select between combined and individual HPA modes, it includes a phase adjuster (which may be manual or motorised) and one or two RF level indicators. Other versions of the basic controller are available, including one which will automatically optimise the phase adjustment on demand.
